SciFiDig 154 – MAD Kevin

March 25th, 2008

This week Kevin Bachelder was kind enough to join me for a MAD episode. Kevin keeps busy with The Scapecast, Firefly Talk, The Signal and the new Dragon Pod podcasts. We cover a lot of ground this week and we(I) get off topic several times (Kevin’s fault).

I wouldn’t leave you Babylon 5 fans without your fix. This week’s episode is War Without End pt 1. This is huge deal in my world, a real feather in the cap of the show’s production team.

Jericho cancelled

March 22nd, 2008

CBS issued this statement:
“The March 25 episode of Jericho will be the series finale. Without question, there are passionate viewers watching this program; we simply wish there were more. We thank an engaged and spirited fan base for keeping the show alive this long, and an outstanding team of producers, cast and crew that went through creative hoops to deliver a compelling, high quality second season. We have no regrets bringing the show back for a second try. We listened to our viewers, gave the series an opportunity to grow, and the producers put a great story on the screen. We’re proud of everyone’s efforts.”

I think this is a fair statement. At least the fans got them to give the show a second chance.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Clarke

SciFi Dig's new RSS feed

March 1st, 2008

The new feed is    http://www.scifidig.com/feed (highlight and copy this).
1. open iTunes
2. select “Advanced” at top of page.
3. Select “Subscribe to Podcast”.
4. In the box paste the new RSS feed.

This should add the podcast to your list of podcasts. If you are using something other than iTunes then your aggregator should already be redirected to the new feed. I realize that the new feed is causing some headaches for both listeners and for me. I will try to get a message into the old feed but this takes some work as well as some time. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
