A Punisher DVD and it looks cool. I want one!
Dave Wellington wrote this book and serialized it on the web here. It is a zombie novel, the first in a trilogy and it looks great. The story of Monster Island and how it came to be published is inspiring.
The other 2 books in the series are written and will be published later this summer. You can read the book online and even install the text file on your iPod but if you want to help Dave out buy the good ol’ paper edition. If you preorder you will get a free chapbook with additional stories in PDF format. Go to the site for more info and to see the other series that Dave is working on called Thirteen Bullets, it is about good old vampires.
I’ve preordered Monster Island and I will be giving the Diggers a full review once I’ve read it. If you happen to read the book online, email Dave and let him know. If you heard about it here let him know you’re a Digger.
Free Enterprise is available again on DVD. This is a very funny movie that all scifi fans should see and especially Star Trek fans. Also coming up is the first season of Robot Chicken, which a collection of stop motion animation shorts that deal with pop culture. The show is very funny and has been running on Adult Swim. The second season will start next month. Let me know what you think.
